Yesterday afternoon, we went to White House. I had already seen it far from in Washington. So I looking forward to seeing it and, I want to see more close. But because of security, we couldn’t see so close, which was a pity not to see nearby it. Consider the importance of American president, it is natural. Even so there are a lot of tourists. Of course, I was also such a tourist.

Tomorrow, we will go back to Japan. These about two weeks will not forget. I want to say thank you for people who wrote comments to my blog, or be kind to me in U.S. Thank you so much!!

Lake Artemesia

On Monday, I walked to Lake Artemesia. It was sunny a day, so in the sun, it was really hot. But once we arrived at a gazebo just offshore, we felt lovely breeze. We played on the gazebo count game and Double Dutch. We enjoyed it!! I think heat in America is different from heat in Japan. A Japanese heat is humid so we cannot escape from heat even we stay in shade. But American heat is dry, so if we go in shade, we can escape from heat. So I like summer in America. Of course it is only by comparison.

National Gallery

On Sunday morning, I went to National Gallery. The building is good and exhibition is also good. The most impressive paint is the one which is one of the Nina’s favorite paint.
The painting show a girl sitting at the table, and the room is so dark, so the light which is on the table light up the girl’s face impressively. I like that picture, because I feel quietness from that picture. But I forgot who painted it. I studied world history when I was in high school. So I know some famous painter’s name. But I appreciated good picture which was painted by the painter whose name I don’t know. I want to see not only the famous picture but also good picture which is not famous. And I think the museum is too big to see for an hour. So I think there is a lot of good painting I have seen yet in the museum.

IDB

Yesterday we went to IDB. I had never heard about IDB, so I weren’t interested in IDB. But while listening what people of IDB spoke to us, I feel interesting about south America, and I wont to study about it. I think seeing is believing

super markets

I went to super market yesterday. My fixed idea is American super market is big and things to buy is also big. My idea was proved to be right. I never have seen such a lot of kinds of sweets and snacks. And each thing is very big. For example, I know Oreos in Japan, but I have never seen mint Oreos. I bought it for my friends. Laura said me that’s flavor is so delicious. So I am looking forward to eating it in Japan with my friends.

Shopping

Yesterday I went to Pentagon city for a shopping. I surprised how big that shopping mall!! In fact, there are some shopping malls which the same size in Japan. But I usually don’t go shopping mall. Only walk around made me tired. But I was asked my sister to buy T-shirts at abacro(I don’t know collect spell it) So I must buy T-shirts. I think that is the most expensive expending during this trip.

My birth day

Aug 5^th is my birthday.

It is always on summer vacation, so I can’t see my friend,

and can’t hear them say “happy birthday!!”

But this year’s my birthday is different from always.

Because I stay in Maryland.

We ate dinner at Italian restaurant.

After the dish,we enjoyed Ji Won’s magic.

Suddenly the cake appeared!!

I was so surprised, and feel happy!!

And I wont to say thank you to everyone!!

The second day

Today I ate pizza for a lunch.
At that time,I was surprised how big that pizza!
In japan,I can eat a piece of pizza.
But American's piazza is very wide and thick,
so I shared one piece of pizza with two person.

I think it is good to share the dish.
Because I can save my money , eat various menu ,and
decrease fat to eat.
