IDB

Yesterday we went to IDB. I had never heard about IDB, so I weren’t interested in IDB. But while listening what people of IDB spoke to us, I feel interesting about south America, and I wont to study about it. I think seeing is believing

Hello, Fumi!
It's really nice to hear that you're now interested in the things you've heard about at Inter-American Development Bank! Learning about something you don't know is always interesting, isn't it?

Right, listening to everything they talked about, I suddenly felt motivated to start learning Spanish again!!

Hi Fumiha,
I am glad you became interested in South America after the visit to the Inter-American Development Bank.
The region is rather chaotic, as are their economies. People might think Venezuela -where I live- is rich because of oil and all the money Chavez gives away abroad, especially to Cuba, Bolivia and Argentina. But the fact is that a large percentage of our population is still poor, ignorant and naive. We wish high prices of oil could be better invested than they are.

Regards, Berta

Hello, Fumiha.

I'm glad you enjoyed your visit to the IDB. It must've been especially nice to hear explanations in Japanese!

I was interested to hear that you want to study about South America. What a huge and fascinating topic! I hope you are able to visit countries in South America.

Did you have a good time in Annapolis and at the museums? Which activity did you like best?

I hope you continue to enjoy your stay in Maryland!

Best wishes--
